Hi Guy, my flaps are std. Not seen the type you mention.
With mine, there is a small gap at the forward end of the steps before the flaps.
Like 10-15mm. So tight but no touching.
. Cheers, Greg

Thanks, Looks like mine are for fixed steps. I'll have to change them again.

Mine's the twin of yours, incidentally!

Yes they do work well.
I really like the clean look too, less clutter at the base of the screen.
@Andy - looking good! Thumbs Up

I've got Autobiography jealousy for a few interior touches I don't have, for example they have nicer speaker surrounds/grilles on the lower door speakers. AB's also have proper LR badges for the door card screw covers.

The standard ones have been winding me up me for a long time. PowerfulUK sell a set for £58 but I found these much cheaper. Fitted them today, just hot-glued over the top of the existing. Prizes for guessing what they come off.

Here's a before when I got repair done for comparison:

Here is before and after:

If you look really closely you can see the new ones have been added on top of the standard ones, but you don't really look that closely, so I think this is a Thumbs Up

Now I just need a solution for those speaker grilles...

.

As the 2010-12 satnav is so useless, I'm playing around with mounting an iPad up on the flight deck:

Still experimenting, it needs to be removable but I want minimal to zero bracketry. This one is a hard case with a fold-over cover which I trimmed to create a kind of tongue. The tongue is thin enough to slide in between the std head unit and the dash top.

It's ok for a first attempt and I'll improve a bit further.
Also ordered some magnets that claim to hold a tablet in place.

You can see my magnetic phone mount behind which will go if this works out.

.
. Cheers, Greg

Greg,
Snap.... I am also playing with an iPad Mini mount that is easily removed when not needed, but mine was not intended for Sat Nav use, rather for using the Gap iid App to monitor live values.
I will post up some pictures later in the week hopefully, but mine is likely to be portrait rather than landscape.
Cheers
