Rear heated seat controls

Why is there a cooler section on the left hand knob when cooled seats aren’t fitted?

the dials are for the air con vents in the back aren't they??

buttons for heated seats

dial on right for fan speed and dial on left for temp

Ah. Getting it confused with the front controls

I saw in IID tool there was an option to switch on cooled seats but if they aren’t there to start with, then no point.
