Out of action. Coolant low. Help with part number

So, coolant low warning popped up just now.

It’s all over the front.

I can see this pipe off, guessing the plastic join has broke.

Do we know the part number please?

Do you need any special tools to undo the black hose clips?

The ones that aren’t jubilee clips?

Hoping I don’t need to buy too much antifreeze.

I struggled a bit and finished up cutting it off and replacing it with a small jubilee clip. 8 - 12 mm.

That’s what I’m worried about. Not sure I have any.

Might have to go Halfords.....

A decent pair of pliers or a pair of nail pulling pliers work well on those black sprung clips

The correct tool for them is a set of these https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=ht...3052882376
but the small ones normal or nail pliers work, and the larger ones can be done with water pump pliers

Many thanks everyone, all fixed.

I’d already ordered the hoses from the dealer, at £80, as I needed the car on the road. Didn’t have any brake pipe or other bits to fix what was broken.

I called at Halfords and got 5 litres of concentrated OAT antifreeze but didn’t need that much in the end. I wanted to buy a tool for the clips but they don’t sell them. They hardly have any tools compared to what they used to do.

Fought the clips with some big pliers, but got there in the end. I kept all my existing hoses, bar the one which had come off. Thought it might have got harder or brittle over time, so put extra stress on the joint. Didn’t seem much different to the new one in the end, but as the other end just clipped in place, was faster than using old hose.

I’ve bled it all an it seems ok.

I did notice that on the new one there was no clip on the joint that broke. Might put a jubilee clip on, like in the pic above....

So why would Land Rover have clips on all the other hoses but the one that broke?

Looked at pics of engines on the web, and none of them have a clip on that specific hose.

I’ve put a jubilee clip on it now, but have I made a mistake to do so? 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8
