startig problem

Hi, Guys

I have just done a trip from Newquay to Wigan towing my tin tent, stopped overnight just out side Wigan, dropped off the Tintent, and went for a drive around Southport then collected the Tintent and went on our way to the M6 Toll services,
Grabbed a coffee pushed the start button only heard a click from the starter and no start?
Grabbed the IID tool from the glove box and notice that the 12v sign top left was going from green to red? tried to clear any faults but just kept saying did not unable to clear faults? check comms from remote?
Thought I would disconnect trailer plug locked car and wait for computers to shut down.
Unlocked the car pushed the start button still no start, second push and started.
when testing the voltage across the battrie it reads 12.5
My thoughts are its time for a new battrie?

Any other thoughts?
