In my other long post with multiple points mentioned at the bottom that this part number has failed its the intercooler duct/bellows (4628214)
What I don't understand it how to change - the two. nuts and bolt are removed and its loose but as the bolt studs are so long I cannot them out trough the holes?
Would really appreciate some feedback.
Many thanks

Surely someone has done this at least once on here really stuck now - I could probably bust this one out but then the new one id need to knock the studs about and use bolts surely there’s a way

Hi Stan - forum search yields no results nor does just the part no.
Looked at the wm and it doesn’t mention changing it out specifically it just says you should change them when working on the coolers so not much help again.. cheers

it's a cheap and simple job to replace them. Remove the air ducting above that elbow, the elbow itself just has 4 bolts holding it to the s/c, remove them and you get enough movement to get the seals out. no need to remove the water pipes or anything. I was advised to replace the rubber gasket between the s/c and elbow, so I got one and used it, but TBH the existing one was totally fine.
