Site not Completing page loading - spinning circle in tab

Last couple of days, the site seems to be struggling to complete page load (well, for me at least). Even though the page appears to be loaded, I continue to get the spinning circle(which indicates still loading) in the tab.... .
Experience is the only genuine knowledge, but as time passes, I have forgotten more than I can remember

LOL. The problem appears to be some javascript called matomo.js (analytics) from v.fnltd.co.uk - it isn't loading and so the page load does not complete.
