Should pdc engage automatically?

On my old 4.4 it was pretty straight forward pop he in reverse all the pdc sensors come alive.

Now on my 4.2 I have to press the pdc button then they all work any idea how i can make it as above? Current stable:

At a guess it probably needs the auto setting turning on in the ccf. 2007 Vogue TDV8 in Zermatt Silver with Charcoal

Car Configuration File. This is editable with, for example, an IIDTool.

Hi Craig

Not checked the light but the cam does for sure... do the modules need coding as the old Bmw ones which I believe fit only go for a tenner on the bay so might just swap it out for ease Current stable:

Censored well I swapped between the two cars and the old one still works the same and the new one still need to be manually pressed --- looks like the ccd file it is - can this be done with the ids software? Current stable:

Hi all

Back on this - I wanted something to clear my adaptations as I have done a lot of work on the car. I thought id treat myself to a non bt iid tool. Arrived today off a member (thanks) and updated registered etc. However... there doesn't seem to scan a PDC module? and there is no options for it on the ccf? I'm mega confused now... any help would be appreciated....

Also while on the iid tool - if I want to update the PCM through the fast lane service do I get a new build for the iid tool where say update will be under Ecu flash?

cheers Current stable:

On my old Discovery 3 the front sensors automatically came on when you dropped down to parking speeds. Didn't need to press the button.

My 2008 RR doesn't do the and the front sensors only come on when the button is pressed. Is it possible to change this?
