Phone connection

Hi guys,
My iPhone used to connect automatically evetytime I unlocked the car, now I’m having to manually connect it almost every time!
Why would that be?
TIA

So were you on 12.3.? before? I ask because I updated to 12.4 about 10 days ago and my phone no longer connects to my car (other car, not FF). I therefore put it down to the phone. I have to manually forget the device then reconnect each time I get in.

I’m going to try with another phone and also another car to see which it is.

There have been times when an IOS update has changed the settings on phones.
To check, try the following.
Settings
Bluetooth
When you see Land Rover (or however it refers to your car) tap on the blue i in the circle on the right.
Make sure that ‘sync contacts’ is switched on - it gets switched off by some updates.

This may work. If not, maybe Apple are trying to get you to buy a new phone.....

Once I sync the phone manually to the car, it’s all good! Contacts are there! But almost every time I restart the car I’ve got to reconnect!
It used to connect on its own all the time!
Just wondered if it’s something in the car that’s thrown it’s dummy out Big Cry

Thanks guys Thumbs Up 2007 VOGUE SE 3.6 TDV8
