Gearbox oil for Zf box 2002

I’m going to do a filter change on my 02 4.4 in a couple of weeks and was trying to find out a cheaper alternative to what is recommended by rimmer. At £14 a litre and requiring 6 lets that’s bloody expensive. Has anyone tried a standard ATF oil or know of a cheaper supplier in the southeast!!
