Supercharger rear diff oil change

Hello

Was changing the oil on my l322 and i undone the hex bolt (next to drain plug) instead of the drainage plug. Now i cant get it to go back in. Any body have an idea on what this dose? After reading here https://f01.justanswer.com/piciu1982/ff1c1..._rover.pdf page 38 it says not to undo this but dose not give any more information. When i fully removed it i heard something clonk as if it was holding something in place. Have a feeling im going to have to remove the diff.

You might want to not drive it at all until its fixed.

All sorted now. If your ever stupid enough like me and do the same you can remove the oil temp sensor and spin the diff inside to where you want it. 2007 sc
