whats this shiny red handle??

Just re-instersting my cup holders for the millionth time (getting sick of them sticking to the cup/can rather than staying in situ) and noticed the little "refer to owners manual" sign printed on the plastic tray underneath along with a little clip at one end.

Pulling out this under tray revealed this intriguing bright red lever/handle and a strap attached to it. No idea what it is and the manual doesn't say anything.

It's sooooo tempting just to pull..it's there just teasing / mocking me.....it's like having a big red button with a sign that says "DO NOT PUSH THIS BUTTON". Not sure I can resist!!!!

Anyone know what it does? I'm fantasising a james bond stye ejector seat for the wife but I'm guessing I'm not that lucky?

ok then great minds,

If I pull it to test it works, will it reset itself next time I turn the engine on / select a gear.....or will it be something stupid that then needs a dealer to reset?

I have a real urge to pull it!

It looks to me as if before pulling it you should say, Eject Eject Eject. letters not necessarily in the right order
