Trouble is people think 'massive repair bills' when they're getting on a bit.
But everything sells when the price is right, winter is the best time to sell though.

Maybe try again then

I struggled with mine tbh. I had loads of interest but people kept trying to bid me in the b@llocks.

Eventually sold on eBay within a week of advertising thanks to the advice of joe90 on here. Auto trader was a complete waste of time and money.

Loads of decent looking '02's on eBay, through dealers, going for@ £2500 - that is about right, given the likely massive repair bills due in the first couple of years of ownership.

Add @ £750 per year (so an 03 = £3250, 04 = 4000) and you are probably in the right ball park

A little chart:

02 2500
03 3250
04 4000
05 4750
06 5500
07 6250
08 7000
09 7750
10 8500
11 9250
12 10000

Of course it does all depend on history/mileage/condition - but sellers will argue the value up, buyers will argue the value down .
Experience is the only genuine knowledge, but as time passes, I have forgotten more than I can remember Wink
