After selling my 2003 td6 last year I miss a RR and at the moment I am looking around for a near mint 2003-2004 V8 (no diesel anymore because of diesel regulations and road taxes in The Netherlands).

A reliable youngtimer specialist has a very nice 2004 V8 (at a steap price) for sale with just 87.000 km’s which he imported from Spain. The car is near mint but the maintenance book is missing and the former owner says the maintenance was done by a local garage (no dealer). I think LR maintenance is more than just changing fluids. How about updates and modifications?

What do you think? A risky buy? 2005 Voque 4.4 V8 (and a 2016 Defender 90).

Looks like this is your prospect car ? € 26k is big money, even in the Netherlands... If the car has no maintenance books, and not a big stack of dated invoices ... like he claims in the plain text .... and not a 2 year warranty....then all I can say is you will take a big risk.

How about this one ? Almost the same mileage, but € 10k less. Still serious money - but closer to reality... (its not my car haha)

FYI... I drive the same car, started at ultra low cost - but did full engine rebuild. I am still not sure itf that was a good decision  Mark Offringa

Yes, that's the one and it was sold yesterday for the asking price.... Prices go high in The Netherlands!

I saw that one on Autoscout but I want a green or navy colour (with clear rear windows).

Good decision but problably not a wise decision!
