Any way to tell what triggered alarm? 2003 TD6

After 10 years of ownership, I had m first ever alarm sound tonight, was a false alarm as no one near it.

Is there any way of determining what triggered it guys?

Or what’s the most likely cause?

It went off at exactly the time I looked out the window at it - strange Shocked

Bonnet switch?

Seems to be a common problem.

LR software (Testbook, IDS) lists the last (10, I think) causes of alarm activation. Not sure whether IID tool is capable of doing the same thing. Current: 2010 Range Rover L322

Mine threw an oddball alarm a couple of weeks ago. Bonnet switch disconnected and been like a church mouse ever since.

I also put a new battery in as the current one was 2011 vintage and I was also getting the key not turning in ignition.

Everything seems fine now. 2017 5.0 Autobiography Supercharged

Cheers guys will check the bonnet switch today...

A thought, mrsblonde didn’t fully close down the parcel shelf yesterday after shopping, middle folding section was in place but the bit closest to you (when at the rear of the car) wasn’t locked into position in the runners, could that of set of off? Maybe I’m clutching at straws.... 🙂
