Had to reverse onto the grass verge to investigate and the suspension dumped the steps onto a hillock I thought it was a huge failure by the dramatic fashion it all happened.

I worked out what it was after a quick search on the Internet & then kept it below 2 / 2.5 thousand revs on motorway, by only doing 60 with cruise control on all the way home to Sussex.
