Chipped to top of rear window

So typically my wife spotted a chip at the very top of window of the driver side rear of her new second hand car. I hadn’t wound it down to be fair so didn’t see it. It’s not much, almost as if someone has closed it when something was stIcking out of the window.

It’s double glazed which I assume all L405s are and it appears there are some broken bits of glass where the chip is. Should I just pop some superglue on it to hold all the little bits together as I assume a replacement will be stupid money? The chip is only about 3-4mm deep and maybe 8mm across at the top. 1994 Range Rover LSE Autobiography

Could you use the resin the windscreen guys use to fill chips - you can get kits on Amazon to do that? Or use your glass cover on the insurance to replace it? Current Fleet:-

As above - 'windscreen' cover on your insurance covers all windows - so that excess is your worst case.

Clearly it would have to be damage done whilst in your ownership for such claim to be valid Whistle
