I have these on my FF, but why on earth do you want AT3s? Do you actually off-road?

I'm currently trying to decide whether to stick with 255/50 or go with 255/55 or even 275/55, but not full off-road tyres.

I need to buy 2 new tyres; hence the dilema. 2 or 4.

I have 285/55 Hankook Ventus on my ML and over 3 years they are still superb both on dry and in the wet (unless you are the car following me), think F1 down the straight, regards rear spray with over sized rubber.

Best Rich

Rich,
I have 255.55.20 on mine and have had no problem with the ct. I bought the wheels and tyres as 405 takeoffs.

However, you might be interested in this thread before deciding.

I 100% agree with 55 for some more real world sidewall.

The 55 on my Merc are chalk and cheese compared with the 50 on the FF.

Hence I'll most likely go for 4 rather than 2.

Ah well.....

Howdy, luckily we don't seem to get any real snow out here, maybe a thin covering lasting until lunch time if we do have some.

I have a full set of spare winter wheels/tyres for the ML but I've not bothered changing them over for the past couple of years.

New rubber for the FF is likely to be Verde unless my daughter suddenly comes up with an ace Continental sale. Smile

That's exactly what I've been looking for to do with mine Rob. I've obviously not been looking seriously enough as I missed those. They don't look like they need refurbishing though!

My plan was to paint them the same colours as my 21s and use them for winter and light off roading. Are you intending to offroad your L322, or is your Classic still your offroading toy?

I had GGs on my P38 and they were amazingly good on and off road. I've only heard good things about the AT3s. 2010 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE
