as far as i know recalls are unaffected by warranty - the dealer has to do them

when cars go into non main dealer service history recalls will not be detected - but if you check a site like VOSA or ring the main dealer with your VIN they will tell you any outstanding recalls on your car

sorry to hark back to jeep ownership on here - but my first jeep was from northern ireland and did not have a full main dealer history

i went to the jeep uk website and looked up recalls and entered my VIN - several were outstanding

contacted local main dealer and without any quibble they took the car in and did all the recall updates

Thats because the front diff problem never existed and the subsiquent work was a customer befuddlement scheme. 2008 MY Supercharged
