If anyone is interested in any of the above offers drop me a pm and I will be happy to give you a good point of contact at the dealership.

Just to make you all aware I am in no way connected with the dealership and am very happy to plod around in my 14 year old L322 until I see what the new Defender looks like..👍

If you go for a deposit contribution deal can you still settle the finance in the first 30 days or so without losing out?

I think that we will see more and possibly better deals in the coming months if the continued drop in month on month car sales continues.

People appear to be holding onto their vehicles for longer periods of time with some, like myself, buying older vehicles to escape the unsustainable levels of depreciation on new so called “luxury” marques.

Just my thoughts.

Ukandrewf I actually like the look of the Defender. What I don’t like is the price, especially for a car with a 2.0L engine that has known problems!

You’re right. I will be sticking with my L322 for awhile longer, though I may be tempted to upgrade to a 2012 Westie at some point.

Apart from being more expensive than I had expected, it seems to be very heavily reliant on complex electronics. A department in which LR do not excel so I do wonder about reliability.
