My s/c is due for replacement - it is now on 185k drives like a dream with no faults but still time for a change so my dilemma is do ?I stick with the fats or go sport if I stay fat it will be 5.0 l s/c if sport the SVR - I am leaning towards staying fat any real benefit or loss going sport ?

I had a brand new high spec JLR sport as a loan car whilst my FFRR was in hospital... I could not buy one. Underpowered 3L engine -slightly smaller, single tailgate ... just wasn’t right

Bill Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc

I’d stick with the Fatty. The Sport is ok, but having driven all 3 engines in the Sport would always take a V8 fatty. They just have more presence in my view.

The Sport can be a fantastic looking car - here's one an acquaintance turned up in a few weeks ago

A neighbour has a sport and have to say it didn't quite feel right
Problem is I am quite attached to my l322 it drives brilliantly as in the last couple of years I have replaced all suspension arms and bushes front and rear and all wheel bearings - a couple odd years ago replaced all the front components ie belts alternator steering pump aircon condenser water pump belts and pulleys as preventative maintenance but I have had it 5 years and it is on 187 k so just feel it is maybe time it joined my p38 and classic in the garden all motd and use them every now and then but do 20 to 30k a year for work so need a work horse so it looks like l405 5.0l
