Reverse Camera Image Backtofront...

The image of my reversing camera has flipped and I've lost the guide lines too.

After a bit of searching, I think this means the camera is faulty as opposed something wrong with the settings?

If it's the former, can I fit an aftermarket camera (genuine ones seem to be £300+)? If so, which are the ones to go for and are they easy to change?
