Will D5 20” rims fit the L405?

I want to fit 20” rims to my L405 SDV8 AB and wondered if Discovery 5 rims were an option?

I know the later RRS rims will fit. Thumbs Up

ALL 20'' D5 wheels will fit and they share the same load rating too. l=Oo\________/oO=l l:OolΞΞΞΞΞΞΞloO:l

This made me think about something...

When I first had the L405, with 21” rims, it was vulnerable to tramlining, happening several times a day. I was using Pirelli Verde All Seasons, which were perfect on the last Disco. In 42,000 miles, through 2 sets of tyres and whether they were new, or worn, the problem was there. I just learned to live with it.

Within the first 24,000 miles of running 20’s (in 255, rather than 275), it’s not happened once.

Has anyone else noticed this as well?

Mine came with 22” Turbines on Continentals 275/40/22, I also have a set of 20’s with 285/50/20 AT’s for the winter and shooting season.

Over 2 years I never experienced tramlining with the 22’s and Contis until I overinflated them last week. Due to the low profile they are susceptible to pressure and unless you get it right they do occasionally tramline - but not bad enough to warrant not having them. Even the recommended pressures can be 1 or 2 lbs too much if the car is lightly loaded. I love the handling and looks of the 22’s but for practicality the 20” are the best option.

The 20’s never tramline and I can bump around off road without fear. 2021 L405 Vogue SE 4.4 V8 DIESEL ~ #17
