United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Autobiography 5.0 SC V8 Causeway Grey
[For Sale] 2004 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 with Prinns LPG

As some of you will know, I bought this car 2 weeks ago but now I know what issues it has, I just don't have the time/skill set to sort the engine jobs out so hopefully someone will be able to make this a very good car for a little spend if they know what they're doing.

I'll start off with the many good points;
Starts first time, every time
Has a Prinns LPG system fitted
Rear screens that work and are 100 times better than the standard fit ones
Parrot Mki9200 bluetooth allowing music playback
Everything electrical works perfectly
Heated seats/steering wheel get nice and hot
4 matching Pirelli tyres with circa 5mm remaining
Black/sand combo
Facelift rear lights
Tinted windows
The better 19" Alloys
Isofix
Rear Airbags were replaced recently
I've serviced it last week using the correct oil/filter best for this engine
Timing chain/vanos pullies changed in 2017 (According to the service book)
New battery fitted (110ah) recently

(Please remember, I am being brutally honest about the 'issues' whereas most will only say one or two and wait for you to find out later on)

Now for the not so good bits (I am being brutally honest here so no one wastes their time/money)
There is a ticking noise which has been diagnosed as a noisy tappet in the n/s bank
Misfire (I don't feel it) logged to same n/s bank so should be the same issue
Both cam cover gaskets are seeping at the back so need replacing
Battery light is on permanently (Believed to be an issue with the wire going to the dashboard)
I have no real proof that the timing chain guides were replaced except in the book
The headunit randomly goes quiet sometimes and I have to turn it off and on again (the button of the stereo itself, not the car)
The LPG system should really have a service to make sure it's safe to use
There are light scratches all over but with a bit of time and a machine polisher, it'll look lovely
The N/S/R quarter has rust/corrosion on it coming up from the wheel arch (common issue)
The front end goes down after a while although yesterday I tightened the top nuts and it has been drastically reduced so maybe it just needs a thorough check to make sure everything is sealed properly
The boot button on the boot doesn't work but you can still open it from the key or the button on the dash
A very small amount of hesitation in 5th gear at 1500rpm so maybe a MAF sensor?

Not all of the bad bits even need to be rectified but at least you know exactly what needs doing unlike 99% of the others for sale on here.

The car itself drives great and pulls just as it should and everything works just as it should. With a bit of time and money, this will be a very lovely Range Rover with all the common issues sorted.
(I'm in St Albans)

I'm looking for £2k for this and I will donate £100 of that £2k to this site as it's helped me massively over the years.

Looks like a "Sand" interior to me....(not Ivory) .

A good honest ad. Good luck with the sale. Agreed 'sand' is much darker and yet ivory is much lighter so perhaps its just the photos. Thumbs Up 405 AB exec seats Baltic and Cirrus
