As per title, without physical checking ,how do i tell which battery / batteries i have as standard. Mine has no stop start and is a 4.4 AB 2015. Thanks for any replies  2015 4.4 AB

I think you'll need to check, the side one is dead easy

if you mean that your stop/start doesnt work John then it could be because the aux battery [if you have one] is flat...


...and you need a 90 ah, 850 cca agm battery,

the aux battery is a 70 ah, 760 cca agm ... ... - .- -.

Having had several 'low battery, please start engine' messages over the last few months I bought a new AGM019 battery from Halfords yesterday, , Five year warranty but I want my FBH to work in the coming months ! Not fitted yet but will post any issues

Hi Stan , mine doesn't have start stop or atleast it doesnt have the on / off button for start stop and it has never start / stopped aince i got it  2015 4.4 AB

And just to confirm, my 2013 AB only has one battery and no stop / start

so to defo confirm this, have a look behind the panel as in Alistairs pic...if no battery there then you just need the one in the compressor well... ... - .- -.

Dolph, yes one battery only, beneath the compressor.

Went and had a look and i appear to have two batteries. On removing the side panel there is an unmarked battery , smallish and i presume a larger one under the spare wheel. My IID tells me 12.0 volts before starting and 14.6 when started. So i need to find out the two batteries that i need.

Ps remove the side panel starting from the back of the rear passenger seat, i almost pulled the grill out trying to pull it by the grill  2015 4.4 AB

Stand corrected on that and can only assume a difference 2013 /2015. Hope you source the correct batteries
