No Parking/hand brake on warning light (Newbie first R/R)

Hi Newbie first R/R so I no nothing about them
There isn't any dash board hand brake on warning light ?
Your Help & advice please.

cant remember what mine did but i think its only the electronic handbrakes that have the 'P' icon lit up when the park brake is on... ... - .- -.

Yes it does light up on the self test for a couple of seconds but not when the handbrake is pulled up.

Owners Handbook = Should light up when Handbrake applied or if there is a fault with the Handbrake
system.

Bulb is fine must be the hand brake switch end. On the passenger side of the lever is the switch hope it is this as there is no doubt several miles of wiring/connections/strange black boxes etc.. Check the switch as a first step.

Thanks will remove console cover and gear Knob to see what I can find.
Any idea what switch looks like and exactly where is it located?

Finally had the time to take a look at Handbrake light switch - wire had broken off the copper connecter holder thingy managed to fix with a bit of improvisation and it now works again Very Happy .
