I am looking for the same project , seems its old forgotten thread and can not find enough info for it specially a solution for air filter other than cold intake filters.
If you come across any info it will be very appreciated to hear from you.
Thanx in advance .

I like the mod Craig did on mine when he owned it, I like the clean look without the washer jets on the bumper and saves the fiddle polishing as well Thumbs Up

Hi All,
Lost my log in so not as new as screen name suggests.

I wondered if anyone has tried fitting 2012 seats into a 2003?

I have heard from one person they fit but can find nothing on the web.
Just bought a set that arrive this week so hoping it is correct.

Anyone any experience?

Thank you

You are out of luck my friend - I did a lot of research into this - the backs should go in with little issue... someone correct me if I’m wrong but the fronts have the airbags in the seats not the doors. If you have the new doorcards you need to disable the airbags or sand down the entry point otherwise you’d get a face full of shrapnel of it went off. Not sure if the bolt positions are the same or electrics or if you can even get the airbags to work... Current stable:

Thank you .. I did wonder as I couldn’t find any reference for it being done by anyone on the web.

I bought them as I was exchanging emails with a seller on eBay last week who said he had done it into his 2003 but wanted to swap to black so was selling his cream 2012.

We didn’t do a deal but I did with someone else a few days later. The original guy I cannot speak to again as eBay have stopped us talking through messages.

I might add he had fitted door cards too.

I only want to fit the seats as I have a brand new set of Vavona wood to fit and it’s for the first type door cards.

Having said that I want it to be safe and correct .. also realised my seats might be cream versus ivory (not sure what I have fitted or what bought) and might not match .. so it may look wrong.

I really like my L322 as it’s an unusual colour and although has a couple of issues at the moment has been a good bus in general and have spent a lot on key areas.

Tempted to buy a newer model if I cannot modify as I had in mind.. nothing crazy but something a few years newer.

It is strange there is not more on the web about it.

On the washer question below, mine has failed an mot for the washer jets not working correctly as xenons needed to be washed.

I think testers often miss/forget things though.

United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Autobiography 5.0 V8 Santorini Black

I've been a lurker here for a while but found myself a 2007 4.2 SC back in November last year. A few teething issues seemingly par for the course later and now I seem unable to continuously throw money at the RR. So much so it's currently in for the full Autobiography design pack treatment with some A and D pillar colour coding for added measure. It also seemed like a good time to have some corrosion taken care of on the rear wings and rear passenger door shuts. Hindsight suggests I may well have been wise to place the the funds into an upgrade to a later car but I had already bonded with this one and we're going all the way. Much like a trying relationship...

Anyway, in sourcing genuine headlights for this conversion I failed to find an AFS equipped unit for the nearside but settled for the sake of the body shop being able to continue with the job at hand. I had working AFS with the original lights and I wondered if this is going to throw a massive wobbly when attempting to wire up the new front end? My plan was to source an AFS unit in due course but I don't want to be left with it throwing a variety of fault codes in the process. Does anyone know of this will be the case? TIA

Just thought I would add a point about the headlight washers. According to the MOT testing website, only cars with factory installed washer jets first used on or after the 1st September 2009 will need to have working jets. Cars registered before this are not tested for working headlight jets.

Obviously the tester at your garage might not realise this and fail it, but you can challenge it. See 4.1.6 below:

FYI jumping the wire for the 2003 and adding the x5 pump works fine.

On a side note...

I now have a 2007 sc which someone has facelifted.

The front indicators do not work when the car is running and lights are off and flicker when they are on...
When car is switched off and key in position 2 they work as expected - what changes when the engine runs?
Any ideas where to look here they have a resistor etc but it’s doing my head in...

Curiously the shutter opens on the xenon light on this one so the xenon creates a full beam as well as the halogen - my 03 did not open the shutters - should it have had anyone else had this working? Current stable:

Ok....

Struggling now but have made some more observations if anyone can shed some light?

Got the bumper off again and tried a few things...

As a test I cut the indicator wires up front and just put a resistor in. I then ran a pair of wires from the side repeaters to the inputs for the indicators.

Go and try it out. Car off all works great... car on... side repeaters working front indicators not! Wtf!
Headlights on with engine running they work again!

Checked all grounds are on the headlight at all times which they are and lives are where they should be...

I then swapped the lights into my facelifted 02 to rule out faulty units... needless to say they worked fine Censored

Really at a loss the Only thing I can think is that on the 2010 the voltage output is regulated and that’s why it works fine at 12v but running it’s at 14-14.1v and that is too high. I have tried to turn everything on except the light but that didn’t make much difference but I don’t know if it would?

Any ideas on this oddness?
