Bovee - unable to skip tracks on main headunit?

Hi all

Just set this up, however I'm unable to skip tracks on the main infotainment screen, something I thought you could do with this. So right now, I only have music control on my phone / ipod. Is this expected behaviour or am I missing a setting somewhere?

No Sir, should work, do the steering wheel controls work? Current: 2011 FFRR Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

Yes the steering wheel buttons work.

When using the Bovee the buttons on the main infotainment don't skip tracks either?

Wil check mine -- maybe the screen buttons don't work with the Bovee, but the steering wheel buttons do, I only ever use the steering wheel ! Current: 2011 FFRR Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

On my 2010 MY TDV8 I can skip tracks using the steering wheel buttons, the hard keys on the infotainment display and the soft buttons on the screen itself.

I have a Galaxy note 10 plus connected via Bovee 1000.

This issue can crop up if the music is selected directly on the phone and then attempts are made to skip tracks using the car’s controls, I think. So confirm selecting the track or playlist from the car interface and still getting this issue? L405 P400e Autobiography (MY2020)... Silicon Silver / Espresso

Mine all worked beautifully, iPhone with IOS 13 upgrade has borked it. Now I can skip when it's set to "Random All" as soon as I select a playlist it doesn't work. Formerly happymadison1978

I found the loss of skip forward/back can be resolved by unplugging the bovee waiting a few seconds then plugging it back in

I just wish I could listen to Nav directions from Waze though the cover without it autoplaying music!
