Scotland 2007 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Java Black
TDV8 electricly dead

Hi all

Went to start the ffrr this morning and it opened up as normal. Waited for glow plugs to go off. Heard a single click and now have nothing.

No lights, ignition will not unlock, no electrical power at all.

Checked battery an it is at 12.7 volts. Checked 3 large in rear fuse box and they are ok.

Any suggestions on what else to check or what the problem is

Thanks

Check for a less than perfect battery terminal connection. Even if your voltage test was on the cable connectors rather than the battery posts, the very low current draw of the meter would not put enough load on a high resistance joint to show up a voltage drop.

Thanks, negative connection at the battery end was the problem. Good clean and it is now up and running 56 TDV8 Vogue SE
