Sorry !! AGM or No AGM ?

My 2012 4.4TDV8 has the origonal LR battery and although it starts just fine I'm getting problems with the FBH and radio won't stay on for more than 5 minutes. So maybe its due a change.

So sorry to ask this old chesnut again but is AGM really required ?? Double the price means its worth asking first.

K

I doubt all of your issues are to do with the battery !

But it *should* be AGM Current: 2011 FFRR Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

I've read so much about problems relating to even slightly low battery voltage, including the FBH. I like the easy fixes first :¬) .. where possible of course !

Battery might fix the FBH, doubt it's the radio issue though Current: 2011 FFRR Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

Should all the batteries in the L322 be AGM then? I don't think mine is?!

If you mean the radio won't stay on for more than 5 minutes with the engine off, then yes I'd say your symptoms point to a dying battery.

Mine started fine but the FBH wouldn't fire up. The rest voltage was quite low at 11.4V or something similar - be worth checking that first, maybe.

New AGM battery fixed the FBH! 2010 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE
