A mate of mine used to buy motorbikes and take them to a friends house, then strip them down. He would take them home in boxes saying he had bought some bits, and then gradually build them up.
His wife was happy as she thought he was making bikes out of parts for not much money

Another couple of friends used to keep their trials bike at each others houses. They each told their wife the other didnt have room for it at their own house, so helping them out. All was good for a few years until their wives got talking at one christmas do, and they were rumbled  Too many toys, not enough time
