TPMS valves - best source?

Any advice on the best place to buy TPMS valves from ?

They look too fragile to swap

Frustratingly I have 2 sets of wheels that have the valves - 1 set are on eBay & the other on a car without TPMS - the wheels I put on the TPMS enabloed car came with bog standard valves Sad typical.....

Cannot guarantee if they are the absolute cheapest available but I managed to get some genuine TPMS Valves from The TYRE EQUIPMENT COMPANY Ltd for a lot less than the LR Main Dealer.

Part No 65741-67 TPMS VALVE Unit Price £39.00 + Vat (£183.30incVat for a set of 4*)

*Price paid 10/2010

tbh, a lot of people slate ebay but its always my first port of call, mainly for a price and sometimes information associated with the product.. ... - .- -.

not something i aspire to have - seems like a pain in the arse!!

if a car is not fitted with them is it safe to assume that the necessary software is pre-installed if you wish to add them at a later date?

All fitted - only took about an hour and cost me a tenner so happy with that.

10 minutes up the road & the warning light went out so I guess all is well

@nick..not sure re the activation , the cars sensors might pick it up or it might be a dealer job...i suppose you can check by putting a tpms equipped wheel in the boot to see if your car picks them up...
