2010 L322 4.4TdV8 parts prices please

Veh as per post title.

Please can you give me a price for the trims that fits around the rear wheel arches on the rear quarter panels (both sides), They are rubber things that fits over the edge (lip) of the arch. There is one fitted on each side, but I'm after 5 of them please (previously priced and bought at £24 each).

Also, please can you price the offside lower tailgate flexible support strap, the one with the strut fitting.

Thanks.

Gone more than a bit downhill since Dan left by the looks of things. They've had a week and a half to respond and I sent an email to Sophie as well. Nothing. Not impressed. Drives:

its seems we have lost a valuable asset in Dan leaving..he always made an effort to respond with competitive prices..

i wonder how much revenue duckworths are loosing because their lack of involvement in the forum and of course the RRS/discovery ones as well..

i suggest a phone call is the best method for pricing... ... - .- -.

To be honest, if they can't be bothered neither can I. Got everything from Island 4x4 now so Duckworth have lost a customer here.

I do wish these companies would realise how important the apparently small details are in creating their reputation. I can almost picture the scene in the management meeting ('senior leaders' no doubt!!), Dan's left so we won't replace him and we've saved a salary, aren't we brilliant? Still, if that's true it makes it so much easier for those who do bother to wipe the floor with the other lot. Drives:

Dan, said before he left, he would be keeping an eye on the forum.
It is often said that you don’t appreciate things, or people, until they are gone.

We owe a collective big thanks to Dan for his dedicated support to us all.
Hopefully someone at Duckworth’s will eventually realise that , collectively, we spend a lot of money buying parts for our cars and that their business will suffer if they don’t respond quickly to our orders.

I have just done a quick tot-up of my spend in the last couple of years.... we’ll over £3k.... multiply that by the number of forum customers and it’s a big number.
It’s up to you. Mr Duckworth.

Mike

Absolutely spot on the money, and many thanks to Dan.

And FWIW, my spend at Duckworth's is only itro £500, but that was in only 6 months. Cheers

With respect, I think the forum spend at Duckworths is/was much more than we realise.

Many members (like me) would not normally post a forum message to ask Dan for prices. I would normally email him directly, and like Stan says, he was always quick to respond.

I can only imagine the number of times we've recommended people use Dan at Duckworths for parts, so i'd imagine the parts department's revenue will nosedive now that Dan's gone and his replacement does not seem up to the task.

Having said that, it's probably not her fault.......she's likely to have been sitting nearest the "manager" when Dan announced he was leaving and they asked for a volunteer to graze the interweb now and again.

Mike

Just a further thought, Duckworth's sponsorship inlcudes, if I understand it correctly, the other forums associated with this one. Several in total, so perhpas the sums add up to even more. Crying or Very sad Cheers

I see from her post on the disco4 forum that Sophie is part time. I will apologise to Duckworth's if this isn't that case, but the smell of cost cutting is very strong. These forums both need, and deserve, constant monitoring and attention.

I get heartilly sick and tired of this sort of thing which is why I'm so suspicious, it's a modern malaise brought about by stupid short sighted middle management. Drives:

My email request to Sophie has gone unanswered for over 2 weeks now, but the good news is that it saved me some money.
Original arm removed, jets cleared and refitted good as new.
