Lights

I have read with interest a couple of posts on here about improving the lighting on an L405. It's certainly more controlled than my L322s but could do with a bit more. Whats the most cost effective way of upping the lighting, a light bar seems favourite but they are usually spot and flood combination I think I just need a bit more on main beam so I guess thats just a spot. In my rally days (many years ago) I just used some Cibie spotlights but I think things have moved on. Geoff

I recently took advice from the forum and stan. I bought the orsam extreme D3S bulbs on Amazon for £127 a pair.. I can report they have indeed doubled my light output

the £140 'ish mark seems to be the best price for these....still its a lot of money for bulbs and it would be interesting if they are worth it.. ... - .- -.

Carrots is the answer Laughing

I've kind of got used to mine.

I drive many miles in the dark on relatively fast, unlit A/B roads - interestingly, I find the high beam fine, but the regular headlights a bit lacking

I thought about the Osrams, but didn't get round to it.....

on all my FF's i've tweeked the lights up a bit, not so much that they dazzle oncoming traffic but enough to illuminate the road a bit better.. ... - .- -.

Got the night breakers, seem brighter, I don’t do as many miles at night anymore, but the std ones are a step back from the last of the l322 lights. Would love to experience the laser pixel lights though, Craig says they are incredible. Hard to justify the upgrade cost though..

Charles, Can I check that the improvement was really that good for you? What year is your RR? I have a 2014 and am interested in these - Did you fit them or get the dealer to do it?

Thanks.
