United States 2007 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Zermatt Silver
How to remove touchscreen display Late Model L322

Hi, can someone provide some additional clarification on how to remove the touchscreen display for a 2007 Range Rover? I've seen all the youtube videos from powerfulukltd but they are for 2006 and earlier L322 before the interior redesign. I believe the 2007+ MY's have airbag connected to dash.

From what I can gather, the steps are similar in that you remove the side trim and A/C vents, you remove the center dashboard stereo speaker. But, I believe you have to first remove the lower glove box then upper glove box. Not sure how that is done. Also, not sure what other trim has to be removed.

Thanks.

Did you get any further with this, I’m having the same issues, there must be a way to get to the bottom fixings ?
Could someone point in the right direct if this has been discussed before ?
Cheers

Hi, I've just changed the AC fan in my 2009 this included removing the touch screen amongst most other things. Your correct in needing to take the bottom glovebox out then the top glovebox out in order to disconnect and unbolt the airbag securing brackets, once the glove boxes are out of the way unbolting is simple, if I remember correctly they are 13mm bolt heads (2off them), you will lso need to remove the vents in the top of the dash as there are two screws under them, other this it's much the same as the video from powerful video. I'd give yourself 2-3 hours to strip and then rebuild. If you have any questions let me know.

Cheers
Ian

PS to get the top dash cover off youwill need to remove 4 large torxs screws nearest the windscreen, 2 small torx screws 1 either end hidden under the vent shrouds, 2 small torx screws under the speaker grill, 2 small torx screws under the central das vent and the two bolts holding the airbag down to the dash frame. Then 4 small torx screws holding the touch screen in place

The 2010 onwards workshop manual is in the wiki. I know it’s not exactly the same, but it’s closer than the early dash videos.
