United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.2 SC V8 Zermatt Silver
The old girl has finally gone...

So you have probably seen last year I got myself a 4.2 supercharged.

The reason being a few fold,

Firstly my 4.4 was up to 190000 miles on original chains guides and vanos and getting a little noisy may not have been related.
Secondly the gearbox again Hs fine 100k since it’s last rebuild and was a little clunky.
It was 18years old.
At the last mot the sills and subframes got advisories but was told if it got any worse it would be a fail next time out.

All this in mind I thought I’d get myself the supercharged and go from there. Unfortunately the supercharged cost me more in 3 months than the 4.4 cost in 4years! But I’m in now and it had to go.

So in December I listed as Spares despite having decent mot on it and a chap has come picked it up and is going to break it which somehow seems really sad as she was a lovely looking car.

Sadly That closes the page in that chapter now! Current stable:
2006 BMW M6
2007 4.2 V8 S/C FF
Gone:
2002 4.4 V8 FF
