Gearbox refurbish

I had the misfortune of my gearbox burned out and having had the task of looking on this and other sites for the best possible way forward I came across Birch 4X4 in Liverpool they seemed to have done s smashing job can’t feel the gears changing and is a pleasure to drive a quick turn around I would recommend them a job well done guys. Thanks for posting this feedback on Birch 4x4 Simran0211. My 2004 V8 L322 is off the road at the moment with a failing torque converter. After a lot of research on the internet, I’ve decided Birch 4x4 is going to be the best option to get the gearbox and torque converter refurbished. So really helpful for me that you have shared your recent positive experience.

Had mine done at Planet Gears in Peterborough Dec 2018. 12 months on and no issues here, guy was very knowledgeable and his Customer Service was excellent 😎😎

I had mine done also by Planet in Nov 2019 and agree with the above comments Current: 2004 Vogue 4.4 V8 - 2004 Discovery 2

If anyone has gearbox requirements in Wiltshire I can highly recommend TES Transmissions in Westbury. They rebuilt ours back in 2011 and it's been perfect since then.

That's probably angered the Range Rover gearbox gremlins now! Rolling with laughter
