Help with P279D-64 (2F)

My ff is a 2011 4.4 HSE. There is some time since non predictable restricted performance appear on my dash. When car is 10’ stopped everything goes fine back again.

I have a Gap Tool, and yesterday I check for faults:

P279D-64 (2F) Four wheel drive range signal circuit - Algorithm based failure - signal plausibility failure.

Can you help about what is most common issues on this cars?

Thanks in advance!

Could be gremlins.
Clear all faults and investigate if it returns.

. Cheers, Greg
