Night time nav screen

I have searched through the forum and even the owners manual but I can not work out how to set my satnav screen to night time?

Can anyone give me a quick steer in the right direction?

Jim

I now know that there is no night time nav screen. Pretty amazing eh?

So after 11 months of ownership and a 4 hour night time drive last night from the West Country to Bedfordshire I finally had enough of having an interrogation lamp shone into my face. In the end I hung a micro fibre towel over the screen.

This morning I was a man on a mission! 10 minutes Censored about in the satnav menu and not finding anything for the screen brightness I went into the vehicle set up menus. I immediately found the screen brightness control........ Embarassed

For the last 11 months I have been driving around with my nav screen at full brightness Rolling with laughter

Now all adjusted to a much more user friendly level, so alls we’ll that ends well.

Jim

You can also turn the screen off when driving at night (at least on my MY you can). You can do it via voice control or via settings I think. I often do this as the glare can be quite distracting. 2016 Skoda Octavia VRS Estate

Press the voice button and say " Screen Off" works a treat , but of a Censored if you are relying on Sat Nav though !
