Is the lettering tape normal?

Hi
I ordered some letters but the tapes seemed thick.
Are they thick ot ok?

 2010 3.6tdv8 180k km.
sold 06 td6 160k
Sold 03 td6 260k

Those letters look CNC cut, not injection moulded - so not OEM. Cheap copies maybe?

Yes they are not OEM
Letter are ok but tapes look thick.
I must inspect some cars. 2010 3.6tdv8 180k km.

That tape looks way too thick. Once applied you can't see any tape on the OEM lettering, but those look like they will be very visible once stuck on. Current: FF Westminster money pit

Could you get a sheet of high strength double sided tape, remove the tape off the new letters and replace it with thinner?

Something like this?

Actually tape is ok.
The seams behind the letters are too deep.
So they Could not tape inside the seam but all over the letters.
Even 1 mm standart tape cannot fill seams.
So i will try thicker tapes Paul:) it is complete opposite.
And dispute the seller of course. 2010 3.6tdv8 180k km.
