As above, had the following advisory guys on my 2003 TD6:

Brake pipe corroded, covered in grease or other material Nearside Front [1.1.11 (c)]
Brake pipe corroded, covered in grease or other material Offside Front [1.1.11 (c)]

I've found Joe90's great guide Is it worth replacing the flexi's and clips at the same time when I do them? (when its warmer, and drier!)

I've got a pair of front Flexi's for sale - they were bought for a 2008 TDV8 and never needed but you'll need to check if they're the same? Could do you a deal on them.

I see you made yours up yourself, i replaced my front to rears last year and made them up as imagine it was a pig to route the originals due to their length and flimsyness

Is it easier to make up the fronts, or being shorter could genuine LR ones be manipulated into place easy enough?

The passenger side you could probably jiggle an original up to the ABS unit, whilst the drivers side would be a nightmare to do with the steel pipe. Some say they did it... (on the 3.6V8 there were short pipes and joiners on each side, so I was able to jiggle my new (home-made up) pipes up through the gaps)

What you could do, which would be similar to the setup on the 3.6, with the correct type of flaring tool, is make a cut in the engine bay by the wheelarch on good metal, and flare the original pipe (put a fitting on first!) and make up a piece to replace the bit you cut off. This is if the pipe in the engine bay is in good order and just rusty out by the wheel. Otherwise replace the whole pipe with bendable cupro-nickel.
