foundry finish colour???

Hi all

Quick question is the foundry finish silver the same colour in 2005 (old style interior) and 2008 (new style interior), i have found a sat nav screen from each of these years but the later 2008 colour looks slightly darker than the earlier 2005 screen, can anyone confirm if this is correct or is it just a trick of the light

Thanks
Matt

It could also be that the older one has faded slightly?

its the other way round, the older one looks 'brighter' than the newer one which looks darker...? think i am going to take the risk with the newer one and hope the colours match up??

Surely that's the right way round? Sun bleaches things and makes them lighter? Question

i found this on a set of door handles i bought, they were from a 2006/7 and were lighter then the older handles i had, i was told that the colour did change around 2006, i have two tins of spray and one is darker then the other, but the trick is how you spray it...needs to be light coats, almost dusting it to keep the look. if you give to it too much it looks like cheap wheel silver. V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.

Hopefully, you know what they say when you are waiting for a bus there are none for ages then two come along at once. There is a 2005 and a 2008, i was heading towards the 2008 (1 because it is almost £30 cheaper and 2 because in 2008 land rover changed the buttons on the screen from icons (which don't really mean anything) to labels which look much smarter. But i am just a little unsure on the colour issue, i dont want to spend £185 on something that looks odd and the colour don't match. I will PM you the links to the two screens, will you give me a second opinion on the colour difference.

Thanks

Matt
