Tough electrial question

I am changing the rear bumper on my 2016, to the 2018 with the stainless exhaust tips.
There are 2 additional parking sensors on the 2018, one on each side of the bumper. I will have to buy the sensors to fill in the holes but my question is, could you tie the 2 new sensors into 2 of the existing ones??

The sensors on the side of both the front and rear bumpers are for the optional “park assist”. I would just fit the sensors and not wire them to anything Thumbs Up
