It was only the 90km limit that reduced by 10km in july last year all the others are the same It was more on the replacement of burned out speed cameras and the new ones that were being introduced

Certainly in our area, the signs were all changed to 80 where appropriate. Otherwise no change. It was said that some Départements were reverting to 90 but there was no clarity on that and unless signed otherwise I would continue with the 80 general speed limit. John

Still a fair numbered of burnt out cameras our way. But a new sneaky low level cam. Twin lenses. About two feet off the ground. Not sure its speed , might be licence checking... who knows.

80 or 90 KMH ? around here it’s often anyone’s guess

I was pulled by Le flick at 75 k in a 50 k but let off , what a nice man . Entente Cordiale

Waze Waze Waze is the best bet.

At least the £ is a bit stronger so the fine won’t be quite so much Thumbs Up

Bill Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc

Yes I managed to rack up a few last year when they suddenly started arriving on the doormat.
I did notice those little cameras last time I was down so am wary to be honest SWMBO is thrilled with the speeding fines she would have us drive everywhere at 60 mph - she doesn't understand supercharged V8's really nor my acceptance of a few fines as part of the travelling cost Thumbs Up

The fines are on a sliding scale depending on how much over the limit you are also if you pay within a certain time frame they reduce the fine usual stuff but they will take you to court I have been told easier just to pay

There's one just south of Limoges on the D704.

BTW Not for this item but I always treat that source with caution. Been know to publish some duff information, eg. on tax, in the past. John

Returned home yesterday pretty uneventful possibly caught once - we shall see.
Interestingly on the last section down to Bordeaux was follow a Frenchman who was skipping along and he slowed down to bang on 130 no normal camera but there was a device at high level just a rectangular box - he stayed bang on for a couple of kilometres then we came across another box at high level went passed and off he went
Are there average speed cameras on that stretch of the A10? probably about 20k out

This French Gov. site gives details of speed cameras and locations. For average speed cameras search "Radar de vitesse moyenne" ,then "Deploiement".

If you put in the département it will give details. For Bordeaux, as you know, Gironde 33.

Looks as if there are a few.

Hopefully a cheaper trip than the last one, Sandy. Very Happy John

Seems all Le flick need to do is put an orange box on a stick every 100 yards and we will all slow down... Rolling with laughter

a bit cheaper than the cameras at €30k each Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc
