Rear ARC pipes leaking

Seems JLR still grumbled over the cost and quality of the ARC pipes on the new models Rolling Eyes

So, rear subframe out to replace them. Not actually that big a job, plastic trims off, disconnect brake pipes, unbolt rear shocks, and the subframe is pretty much ready to come down

Jeex, why oh why don't Landrover learn to use materials that wont corrode? It's not exactly a budget car, the use of materials would'nt increase the build cost significantly, it would reduce the warranty claims dramatically. I had a twelve year old Touareg, there was no rust underneath at all, I was dismayed when I first looked under my six year old L322. BMW i3 Electric Car

Thanks Mikey...
The fluid looks very corrosive, is it brake fluid or specific ARC fluid ?

United Kingdom 2017 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Farallon Black

Hi, first post from a bit of a lurker Smile

This has just happened to me on my 2017 also-ex-Scottish L405. Can anyone help with part numbers for the rear pipes? I can't find much on Google, just lots of L320 diagrams & part numbers. Thanks!

Can you see these from under the car, too for example spray with lanoguard etc in a bid to slow down the corrosion. Sold - Bell a 2015 MY16 Loire Blue Autobiography 4.4 SDV8

For a standard wheelbase, you're looking at part number LR085489

Here's a diagram for you:

Many thanks, I've placed an order.

I had assumed it was a seal on the anti-roll bar that had failed, so I bought a complete new unit. It turned out to be the pipes, which became evident once it was on the lift. Given the state of the original parts, I'll fit all the new gear together for peace of mind, rather than returning the new anti-roll bar.
