Yes they where a factory option my old one was under the seat but my 2010 I think is different

The early ones used the seats from the 7 series, and the frames were pre marked as to where to drill to mount the extinguisher.

I have one similar to the Aldi one which fits nicely in the recess panel that covers the rear fuse box. |
