Scotland 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 V8 Orkney Grey
2011 Fron Wheel Bearings.

Hi Guys, just wonder if anyone here has changed a front wheel bearing on a full fat 2010-2012/ Everything I see online seems to be for the models before this and that the bearing has to be pressed out. But after looking for parts online it looks like my model can have the hub bought and changed out? Looks much easier than the older full fats. Is this correct? just wanted to check before I go buying bite.
Also just wonder if anyone has done one, how many miles has your car done before the change?

Thanks in advance guys.

Aj.

They're the same as earlier models using the same bearing part number.

I’ve had it done. Aparently a PITA.

Would be easier to get a hub bit more money....What makes you think they have gone? They don’t fail on a regular basis. I swapped mine as a fitted had damaged the wheel flange and I had to swap the hub in any case. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Mine's RH was replaced because it was thought to be the only possible remaining culprit for a noise similar to a failed wheel bearing. The non-LR-specific garage had significant difficulty refitting (pulling) the driveshaft into the hub as they didn't have the proper tool. The bearing noise was still there with the new bearing and eventually tracked to 2 brake pipes near the modulator vibrating together because the spacer had fallen out.
