what is the right format for video on USBs

Hello, scratching my head to find what is the right format for video to be watch in the RR from a USB stick
the LR site is pretty generic :

Audio formats: AAC, Dolby, DTS, FLAC, MPEG 1, 2, 3, WMA, PCM, WAV, Apple Lossless

Video formats: AVI, DV, 1, 2, 4 including DivX, Xvid and QuickTime, H.263, H.264, WMV, MKV

has anyone has more details on resolution accepted, preferred format... etc.. wonder if I should burn 1280x720 or 720x480

I successfully watched .mp4 movies at a resolution of 1920x1080p.
As for audio, I listened up to 24Bit 96KHz FLAC files...

wonder if your p400 does not have better electronics...
could run divx 730x480 but not 1920x 720
need to check if its the format or the usb key wich might be not fast enough

This is for rear seat entertainment correct? Front nav screen won’t play movies from USB?...I haven’t tried. USB in arm rest for this? 2014 FF Autobiography 5.0 SC

I don't have RSE. It's played on the upper front screen (Touch Pro Duo), from one of the 2 USB connectors in the central armrest.

yes this is front screen for me , does play divx from usb arm rest box 2013 L405 V8 5.0 Aspirated Autobiography
