Help to identify this please.

Hi, can somebody please give me an idea as to what this is please? Looks like a mount for something but don’t know what fits onto it. Been puzzling me since I’ve had the the car. I don’t want to remove it if it will leave a hole.

Is it magnetic? -- it has USB so could it be a magnetic phone holder with QI charger? Current: 2011 FFRR Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

Perhaps a mount for a speed camera warning system, it looks a bit like the base for a Road Angel Gem. In theory Road Angel mounts are meant to come off without leaving a sticky residue, but depending on how long it's been on there you might need some adhesive remover. Only Range Rovers since 1988

Thanks for the replies so far. It’s not magnetic but the cog on the top turns, don’t know whether the USB port is for power out or for power in.

OK, having looked at the Road Angel website it looks like it is a RA Pure wireless mount, that site should clarify for you, including how to remove. Only Range Rovers since 1988
