i am considering trading one of my classic cars for this.... what do you reckon? seems an ok price on the face of it and it would solve a couple of car fleet issues.....

That price is about right, prices have tumbled of late. 9 months ago I bought virtually the same car (86k) from Manheim auctions in Manchester for £14k out the door! Thought I’d done well at the time!

On first glance it looks deal of the century. One question: what’s the previous owners, what’s the paperwork?

I spoke with the dealer for that one. They have the service history book, no receipts or invoices for work carried out etc. Looks a nice car though |

I saw that car on AT, it came up on my search today. Looks nice, if it was closer to me I'd be tempted. Try a cheeky low offer, as has been said, the prices have been dropping the last couple of weeks. Onto my 2nd FFRR, this time an L405 5.0L SC AB in SVO Palette black. |

I can't believe how much prices have fallen in such a short time! |

It’s got no tow bar, which is a bit of a downer as I need one for aback box, I did fit one myself on my old RR it’s was a two day job (taking my time) and the parts were about £600 second hand..... so not sure I could be bothered with that again lol |

On the upside all the rear end won't be knackered from towing. Always a point I look for, no tow bar. |

Not always a valid assumption - a towbar may have been used to tow a Halfrauds trailer to the tip or a plant trailer with a minidigger on it. Personally, I thing a RR looks undressed without one. 2003 Range Rover Vogue TD6 |

It won’t knacker the body shell, Alistair. But the amount of wear to the power train does depend on what’s been towed. Obviously towing a fully laden twin at 3500kg with max nose everywhere will wear out the car faster, but occasional use won’t make a difference.
