And Pete I think your absolutely right... My diving style is the reason I get there squeeling.. gave it a little work out tonight and no squeeling now but it will return cause I like to go easy on the gear.

LOL I'm not going back over the use of copper grease. I've got a big tub left, keep using it and its been fine. No squeeling, parts come on and off easily.

I had the low rpm squeeling as well first time I replaced the L322 rear brakes. Once I took it all apart again, and all paid a bit more serious attention to refitting the new clips/spring thingys, really clearer out all the dirt, and applied a good helping of copper grease it was gone and stayed gone.

I tend to be quite gentle, or smooth I'd like to call it as well. But granted it is difficult to remote diagnose the noise whether it is pad to disc squeal vs the other parts. For me, it was definitely the other parts. In my opinion, especially with new pads they wouldn't be glaced immediately.
